I am a graduate from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. I am also a graduated member of the Media, Self and Society College Park Scholars program. Now, I will be holding the position of Editorial Assistant for the Lifestyle section of Every Day with Rachael Ray!

Some of the most invaluable experiences have been the internships I’ve held. I was honored to be selected for the 2009 American Society of Magazine Editors summer internship program, where I worked full-time at Everyday with Rachael Ray magazine and participated in weekly meetings with editors-in-chiefs at different publications.

I have also interned at USA WEEKEND magazine, where I produced full page articles and smaller weekly pieces for the national publication.

All of my work in internships has allowed me to become a better editor at my school’s magazine, Unwind!, where I am co-editor-in-chief. I have worked to redesign the magazine through improving content and design. I am also an editor for College Magazine, a start-up publication circulated through nine campuses and growing.
